My family/friends on the outside call me Dewayne or Hawk. I've been
incarcerated since 1994. I've accomplished a number of programs and also
aquired a skill in upholstry/reupholstry. I'm a prison rep for the Out Reach /
Scared Str Program (speaking and mentoring outside school children about
myself and prison life). I've written a novel, and am currently writing another.
I'm a young eccentric man who loves to laugh and make you laugh, too. My
hobbies are writing, reading, shooting pool and studying historic cultures. I
also enjoy listening to various types of music. I dislike empty promises,
dishonesty and poor excuses. I'm a straight forward, don't beat around the
bush, type of guy.
Being in here can be a lonely journey, so I am looking for that special
someone who can relate intellectually to this loneliness. I'm looking for a
nonjudgmental person who is well traveled in wisdom, and is not worrying
about the amount of time I have left, but what kind of time we can
communicate open mindedly.
